OBX Room In The Inn is in the midst of helping those hit the hardest on the Outer Banks by providing food, shelter, and clothing. Last year, your contributions helped provide 334 overnight stays and over 5,000 meals to those in need. Your generous donation, no matter the size, will go a long way in helping us continue our work. Mail to our offices or give online. Please consider a monthly recurring gift to help us secure our future in providing for those less fortunate.

While we would love to accept every donation, our space is limited. We are currently only accepting the following items through the "It Takes A Village" project:

Personal hygiene items (toothbrush/toothpaste, deodorant, soap).

Men's and women's clothing (especially cool items), all sizes, shoes, socks, and undergarments.

Books for our library, education, and training.

No contract phones and service cards.

Treat items and gift cards. Do you remember how you would feel when your Mom put something special in your lunchbox? Adults fun love surprises, too. Wrapped holiday gifts are welcome.

Grocery items or pre-paid Food Lion, Harris Teeter, or Publix cards. Please call the office to find out our current needs.
