Make a Difference on Day of Caring – Volunteer with Albemarle Area United Way!

Looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? Here’s your chance to roll up your sleeves and make an impact!

Our incredible partner, the Albemarle Area United Way, is rallying volunteers for their annual Day of Caring on Friday, September 26th. This special day brings together people from all walks of life to support local non-profits through hands-on service projects that uplift our neighborhoods.

🛠️ Whether you’re handy with tools, bursting with creativity, or simply have a heart for helping—there’s a place for you. From painting and landscaping to organizing, every skill and every smile counts.

Volunteering just a few hours can make a lasting difference. Plus, it’s a great way to meet new people, learn about local organizations, and be part of something bigger than yourself.

📧 Interested in joining the movement? Reach out to outreach@albemarleareauw.org to sign up or learn more.

Let’s show up, pitch in, and make September 26th a day to remember. Your community is counting on you!
